There is very little evidence of what was really similar to the past it is therefore difficult for a lot of people to re-construct the life of any child, nevertheless from the things i have searched, and in my own opinion I am going to summarise the historical changes in childhood knowledge and bring up these changes to childhood advancement and privileges.
In the 19th century I think children missed out on most of all their childhood since many of them got on careers such as chimney sweepers, street sellers and farms one example is. These were largely children from poor families who were known as extra farm building hands and were used by obtaining low purchase long hours and working in poor conditions. This kind of improved interpersonal skills and social human relationships as they where able to enhance other kids in school and out of faculty, instead of being forced to miss college often or perhaps not go to at all as a result of long hours plus the parents cannot afford to get rid of their financial contributions. Little one's health was not good and child mortality rate was high, mainly due to overcrowding, poor diet and the poor working conditions which a lot of workhouse kids didn't live to become adults. These are the youngsters who under no circumstances recovered by years of chronic malnutrition.
